Merrill Hosts Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo Again This Year
Today, Friday June 7th through Sunday June 9th Merrill is once again hosting the annual Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo. The event, which takes place at the Merrill Fairgrounds Stadiium is sponsored by the Lincoln County Rodeo Association Inc, which is entering their 35th season of professional rodeo. Their mission, simply put, is to provide quality family entertainment and promote the sport of professional rodeo.
The Rodeo Committee is made up 100% of volunteers, who take pride in sponsoring this premier event in north central Wisconsin each year.
Professional Cowgirls and Cowboys from all around the nation will be competing to showcase their talents.There will be live music, great food, and plenty of action-packed western style fun for the whole family. It is estimated that more than 14,000 fans will be attending this year’s rodeo.
